As the daughter of a mother who was once adopted from St. Ann's Infant and Maternity Home many years ago, I too feel that I am a part of the St. Ann's family. Donations to St. Ann's ensure that Washington DC area children in need of respite care or mothers that need a safe place to stay with their babies and young children have the resources they need. One of the finest programs at St. Ann's is the education program that allows mothers to complete a GED and get a job. The children are cared for by a loving and committed staff while mothers attend school or go to work.
